Simple pricing

The myPOS pricing model is simple and you pay only for what you use. The basic principle is that there are no subscription, service or connection fees. The pricing model consists of three components:

All acceptance contracts for debit and credit cards, iDEAL and MO/TO are taken care of at once. There are no additional costs/subscriptions for credit cards, tip functionality, detailed reporting, service contracts, MO/TO or pre-authorisations.

If you only want to use our PSP services to enable payments on your website, then you do not need to purchase a payment terminal.

We only offer subscriptions for certain extended services such as the exclusive myPOS Platinum business cards or for our Invoicing system.

You can use a tariff slasher for certain (busy) periods. For a monthly fee, you can accept payments at very low transaction costs. You can turn these tariff slashers on or off monthly.

The three components of pricing

1. Purchase of a payment machine

We have a suitable payment terminal for every industry and every application. We have simple payment terminals that come equipped with but also without a receipt printer, and smart payment terminals with touchscreens and apps.

myPOS devices

You pay a one-time fee for the purchase of the payment terminal in our webshop. With a payment terminal, you get a standard one-year warranty and a DATA SIM card with an unlimited data bundle. There are no further costs associated with the device.

You can extend the warranty of a myPOS payment terminal by one or two years. Should your payment terminal become defective in the second or third year, we will exchange it. The super service (updates, remote maintenance, support by phone, mail and chat) remains free during the entire lifetime of the payment terminal.

2. Transaction rate

You can choose which transaction costs best suit your business or even business period (e.g. for seasonal businesses). The costs for debit card payments vary between €0.06 and €0.25.

We have two options for this:

With the first option, it depends on the number of transactions per month in the myPOS account (i.e. not per terminal). Depending on the total number of transactions in a month, you fall into a certain tier.

You 'never fall back' should you have a quieter month or are a seasonal business. The transaction fees for Dutch debit cards consist of three tiers:

With the second option, you use our tariff slasher to further reduce the transaction fees for Dutch debit cards with the Maestro and VPAY logos.

You can have a tariff slasher start on any day. The term is a minimum of one month and is then billed monthly. There is no notice period. You can stop the tariff slasher daily after the first month. The only thing is that there is no pro-rata crediting on already collected charges.

  • With a monthly fee of € 25, the transaction fees for Maestro and VPAY debit cards are:

iDeal and credit cards

You can accept the most common credit cards on your payment terminals. For PSP services, the credit card fees differ slightly. This is because payments on a payment terminal are more secure.

We also differentiate by region. The handling costs for a U.S. credit card, for example, are substantially higher for us.

3. Bank transfer

You can transfer to any IBAN bank account in Europe for €3 from the myPOS account. The maximum amount per transfer is €25,000. Accepted amounts are credited directly to your myPOS account 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You can transfer money to any bank account in a SEPA country. It does not necessarily have to be your own (business) bank account.

Most customers transfer balances weekly or monthly. Should you need to transfer more frequently for business reasons, please contact us for a lower bank transfer rate.

Why does myPOS charge transfer fees?

Accepted amounts are credited directly to your account 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Banks and credit card companies require a number of days to weeks (for credit cards) to complete a transaction. Amounts therefore arrive at myPOS at different times (days to weeks later).
