Meet the leadership team

Mario Shiliashki

Mario Shiliashki

Chief Executive Officer

Mario brings to myPOS decades of experience and a global view on payments and fintech, having served in global senior leadership roles at PayPal, Mastercard and PayU. Before joining myPOS in April 2024, he successfully led all stages of transformation, growth, M&A and exit as CEO of PayU GPO – an online payments and fintech player in high-growth markets across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

Mario has served as non-executive director on the boards of several public and private companies in the financial services and technology sectors and has been an advisor in a few tech-focused investment funds.

In his early career, Mario was an equities analyst at Goldman Sachs in New York and a strategy consultant at Bain in London. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from Bryant University.

Iain Balchin

Chief Financial Officer

Iain’s extensive expertise has been gathered for nearly three decades and includes the banking, payments, wealth management and more recently SaaS technology sectors. He has held senior finance leadership roles at BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, Standard Chartered, Lloyds Banking Group. and St. James Place Wealth Management.

For the last 10 years, Iain has focused on assisting some of the world’s largest PE-backed growth fintechs, including Wizink, World Remit and Ramp Network through their growth journey. Most recently, as the CFO of Tradeshift, Iain helped transform the global SaaS company, leading it into a strategic joint venture with HSBC. Iain’s experience includes finance transformation, refinancings, equity and debt raises, and he has taken several companies public. He holds a degree in accounting and finance from Oxford University and a certificate in financial management from the IMD.

Matt Komorowski

Matt Komorowski

Chief Revenue Officer

Matt brings a wealth of payments experience from iconic companies such as PayPal, Groupon and the Boston Consulting Group. Most recently, he served as CRO at Volt.io where he focused on driving adoption of the company’s open banking products across business verticals and international markets.

Matt has more than 12 years of experience in the payments sector, including a decade-long tenure at PayPal where he served as a managing director for Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, and Benelux before leading partnerships across Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East & Africa. He holds a degree in commerce and finance from the University of Toronto.

Dimi Ilieva

Dimi Ilieva

Chief Marketing Officer

Dimi is a seasoned marketing professional with over 18 years of experience in brand storytelling and strategic marketing. She has held key leadership roles, including overseeing marketing for a domestic services provider with a large client base in the UK and Australia, as well as leading marketing efforts for a SaaS software business and an ERP software provider. Her expertise spans digital media, strategic planning, project management, and entrepreneurship.

Dimi is also a certified coach by the International Coaching Federation, a guest lecturer in digital marketing, and an advocate for women’s entrepreneurship and youth mentoring. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Economics, Varna, an MBA from École de Management de la Francophonie, and a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from Varna Free University.

Nour Bezzouh

Abdenour (Nour) Bezzouh

Chief Technology Officer

Nour has over 25 years of leadership experience in engineering and digital transformation across four continents. He has proven expertise in transforming organisation and technology to accelerate growth and innovation within the financial sector, specialising in consumer technology, enterprise SaaS and fintech.

Nour has a significant tenure at Intuit in Silicon Valley, California, and served at Banco Santander as the Digital Head of Technology and Operations, spearheading the bank's transition to a global financial services platform and launching multiple fintech initiatives. He holds an honours master’s degree in telecommunication and computer sciences from Paris Telecom France, and a project management and Agile certification from Carnegie Mellon University, California.

Stella Nacheva

Stella Nacheva

Chief Product Officer

Stella is a passionate product leader with a proven ability to drive innovation and deliver customer-centric solutions. At myPOS, she is responsible for shaping the company’s product strategy, ensuring that its offerings align with the mission of empowering SMEs through powerful, all-in-one payment solutions.

Her career trajectory at myPOS showcases remarkable in-house growth. Stella initially joined the company as a product manager in 2016, and over time, her deep understanding of customer needs, combined with a commitment to innovation, led her to her current leadership role. She holds a computer science degree from the University of Economics Varna and has completed the Oxford Leading Strategic Projects program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Maxim Kochnev

Maxim Kochnev

Chief Operating Officer

Maxim joined myPOS in 2018 as a chief financial officer and is currently overseeing the operational aspects of the business, propelling tech and employee growth. His professional experience includes a company from the Big Four audit firms as well as heading the finance team at a fast-growing service company for 5 years.

Having managed an international group of companies with outsourced operations in Bulgaria, Max brings substantial BPO management experience. In addition to being a CFA charterholder, Max holds bachelor's and master's degrees in corporate finance from the University of Economics, Varna.

Lubomir Atanasov

Lubomir Atanasov

Chief of Staff

Lubomir joined myPOS in February 2024. Prior to this, he was leading special projects at Payhawk, a fast-growing fintech. He has deep experience in financial services, having worked with clients such as HSBC, Goldman Sachs and the ECB across EMEA as an engagement manager at Oliver Wyman. Lubo holds a degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Oxford and enjoys diving and travelling in his free time.

Irfan Rasmally

Irfan Rasmally

Chief Payments Officer

With more than 20 years in the payments industry, Irfan has extensive experience working with banks, payment gateways, PSPs and the card schemes. He started his professional journey at the State Bank of Mauritius in 2002 before joining a German PSP as a business development manager and director in 2007.

In 2013, Irfan started leading business development at myPOS, and in 2024 he took over the core payments unit. He holds a master’s degree in computational science from the University of Mauritius and has completed the Oxford Fintech Programme developed by Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Stephane Pilloy

Stephane Pilloy

Chief Compliance & Risk Officer

Stephane’s career in financial services spans over 25 years. It includes experience in financial modeling, capital raising, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. Point-of-sale payments have been a recurring theme throughout his professional path.

Stephane was a consultant at Accenture, an investment banker at Credit Suisse and a managing director at HSBC. Additionally, his work involved high-profile payment and card providers such as Vocalink, SIA, Nexi (CartaSi), Cofinoga, Network International, John Lewis Financial Services and M&S Money. He holds a master’s degree in finance from the London Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universite Libre de Bruxelles.

Andrew Williams

Andrew Williams

Chief Legal Officer

Andrew is a highly skilled international lawyer and general counsel with over 20 years of professional experience. Trained as a corporate lawyer at leading international firm Hogan Lovells, he has held senior leadership roles in major fintech companies for the past 14 years.

At Worldpay, he helped build and lead the award-winning legal team that supported consistent double-digit growth and steered the company through IPO and its subsequent US mergers. At Western Union, as General Counsel for Europe and Africa, he led the regional business and regulatory legal team through a period of transition and renewed business strategic focus.

Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in history with honors from the University of Cambridge, Magdalene College and a postgraduate diploma in law from Nottingham Law School. He is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales as well as in Hong Kong, where he spent several years living and working.
