Thomas has previously worked for some of the largest Swiss banks as head of trading and advisory. Additionally, he was a partner at a Swiss assets-management company for over 17 years.
To myPOS, Thomas brings more than 25 years of experience in the areas of trading, advisory, back office and client relationship management. Thomas started his career with an apprenticeship at a cantonal bank in Switzerland. Afterwards, he trained extensively to become a certified Swiss Banker.
Maxim joined myPOS in 2018 as a chief financial officer and takes charge of the company's financial management. His professional experience includes a company from the Big Four audit firms as well as heading the finance team at a fast-growing service company for 5 years.
Having managed an international group of companies with outsourced operations in Bulgaria for 5 years, Maxim brings substantial BPO management experience.
In addition to being a CFA charterholder, Maxim holds bachelor's and master's degrees in corporate finance from the University of Economics, Varna.
With more than 20 years in the payments industry, Irfan has extensive experience working with banks, payment gateways, PSPs and the card schemes. He started his professional journey at the State Bank of Mauritius in 2002 before joining a German PSP as a business development manager and director in 2007.
Since 2013, Irfan has been leading myPOS business development and now also overlooks the myPOS Group operations. He is also a non-executive director for the UK EMI myPOS Payments Ltd.
Irfan holds a master’s degree in computational science from the University of Mauritius and has completed the Oxford Fintech Programme developed by Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
Jean has 20 years of investment experience working on both listed and private equity. He started his career at Morgan Stanley where he ran a multibillion global equity fund. Then, Jean worked for the investment bank Berenberg, focusing on tech companies, after which he joined Safecharge and headed investor relations and M&A.
Jean holds a master’s degree in finance from ISC Paris. At myPOS, he leads strategy and ensures the company remains merchant-focused while accomplishing its impressive goals.
Stephane’s career in financial services spans over 25 years. It includes experience in financial modeling, capital raising, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. Point-of-sale payments have been a recurring theme throughout his professional path.
Stephane was a consultant at Accenture, an investment banker at Credit Suisse and a managing director at HSBC. Additionally, his work involved high-profile payment and card providers such as Vocalink, SIA, Nexi (CartaSi), Cofinoga, Network International, John Lewis Financial Services and M&S Money.
He holds a master’s degree in finance from the London Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universite Libre de Bruxelles.
Rob has more than 20 years of financial services experience - from early-stage businesses to well-established banks and payment processors. His expertise includes pricing and risk management, transaction optimisation and merchant services.
Before joining myPOS, Rob contributed to the success of major brands like Capital One, Barclays, Lloyds and Worldpay. In 2019, he also co-founded a boutique consultancy to help businesses make strategic changes and drive value.
Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematical engineering and a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence and robotics.
Neil has more than 25 years of experience in the banking and payments sectors, including e-money, cards and fintech. To myPOS, he brings expertise in payments products and operations; regulatory licencing and compliance; financial, treasury and capital management, and much more.
Neil spent more than 18 years at Citi where he was Director and Chief Operating Officer of the international business of Citi Prepaid Services, in Western Europe, CEEMEA, LATAM and APAC. His subsequent roles saw him establish regulated operations and drive new market launches globally for issuing and acquiring products and businesses, principally in the Americas.
Neil is a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds an MSc in business administration from the University of Dublin, Trinity College, and a corporate governance diploma from the Corporate Governance Institute Dublin and Glasgow Caledonian University.
Brian has more than 25 years of financial service experience in equity and money markets. He joined the UK’s first securities regulator in 1988, and in 1994 became part of HSBC. For 23 years there, he held compliance roles in many areas, including investment banking sales, trading, research, conflicts management and conduct. Later, Brian moved into an operational role, establishing compliance in a service delivery environment that supported 35,000 staff. More recently, Brian has led various regulatory compliance transformation initiatives.
Brian holds an honours degree in economics as well as a diploma from the UK Securities Institute.
